In the year 2011, the Authority alongside the American Vampire League overstepped their dominion by attempting to assassinate several human and vampire politicians. In fear of the great power the Authority was beginning to abuse, American President Barack Obama, Congress and several monarchs of the old Authority regime declared war upon the vampire Authority. Darkness passed over the nation as a new civil war ravaged its lands leaving no innocent untouched.

In order to preserve order amongst mankind and the supernatural, four vampires - former monarchs of the Authority�s regime - formed their own government, modeled after a combination of the American Republic and the Authority�s Monarchy System, known as the Republic. Their dominion protected all and any who sought refuge beneath their guiding light. With their protection came numbers and with numbers came a national army. Two years after the Blood War had been started the Authority was finally eradicated and while the United States was left in shambles, the dawn of a new Era had begun.

Fifteen years have passed since the allied powers of human and supernatural forces watched the fall of the Authority. A new face has marked the nation and change has placed the new order, The Republic, as the governing body of the new United States. The Great Revelation of Vampires was finally put behind in the minds of all human kind as another Great Revelation took its place. Species of many origins have outed themselves while many others have remained in the dark.

The United States Republic follows under the leadership of a grand council. The ten members both supernatural and human are responsible for keeping the order in the new United States. Everything seemed hunky dory until members of council were alerted of treachery within their ranks. It seemed that power hungry individuals didn�t just want a position as monarch of a state, they wanted council member titles as well.

After several years in an Era of peace and prosperity, the recent uprising has placed the new monarchs of the states at unease. Surviving members of the old Authority�s regime are seeking out revenge on the Republic and with the disappearance and subsequent death of one of the four founding father�s, there�s no feeling of safety for anyone.

With the attacks on sheriffs, monarchs, council members and the rumors of rising Neo-Authority powers, the peace of the new nation is beginning to crumble. With the darkness looming overhead will you flee to a place where the sunlight keeps the darkness away? Or will fight for what you believe in? How will you survive in a world
