OVERALL PERSONALITY
Devyn has a very dark personality; she is manipulative, mean, selfish, and always looking out for herself before anyone else, a trait she picked up during her almost five-thousand year existence. She will say, and do anything for self-gain as well, if it benefits her in any way she won’t think twice about it. But under all the dark depressing intentions are a couple of good ones, she can be nice if you’ve won her trust, and she can be extremely loyal if you have proven yourself. It’s not all bad and her heart isn’t completely made of ice, just try to get and know her before doing anything drastic, it might just get you a one-way ticket to a lifetime of hell.
After being alive for hundreds of years her normal vampire abilities have more than doubled, she can fly at greater speeds, move quicker than a vampire can track, and is stronger than any number of vampires combined. But her ability specific to her is the power to compel with her voice, it only effects other vampires, humans, and the weaker two-natured. Her highly advanced powers have made her somewhat cocky and very arrogant, she believes any vampire younger than her is weak, and can be easily controlled. But after underestimating before, she swore to never let it happen again, she makes sure to assess her opponent properly before pulling out their heart effectively killing them.

HOME Town Present Day Madrid, Spain
OVERALL HISTORY Adarian and Devryian, twins born in 3272 B.C in present day Madrid, Spain. Between them, she was younger by roughly 2:17 seconds. The twins were born into an Ancient equivalent of a society, their family being the “royals”.
Early Life;;
Growing up, the twins were as close as could be, balancing each other well and complimenting each other’s qualities and traits so that in essence they were model heirs, godly children in every sense of the word. Devryian had strained but decent relationships with both of her parents, the rest of their society was like putty in her hands though, she academically surpassed others her age and even higher, boys and girls alike. You could say physical activities weren’t her forte such as hunting, fishing, fighting but once puberty was reached, both twins became…quite, familiar with certain physical activities involving the opposite gender. Devryian always kept her expectations high, never bedding anyone she deemed unworthy. Usually she was attracted to older men, though never anyone to old and only the best and highest in status, although the younger kids trying to ‘experiment’ did pose a certain appeal . Yes, back then those types of men were more often than not unavailable due to age, or marriage, but honestly it really didn’t matter to her, she got who she wanted when she wanted it, so as you can imagine early on she learned the arts of manipulation, seduction, deception and the list goes on. But she didn’t get caught, for awhile that is until about 16, Adarian was the one to always please father, bringing “honor” and “goodness” and “pride” and whatever else their father said to their family, in nearly everything he did. So much so that he almost literally became a god-like figure, she never held any resentment towards him for it though, she respected him and believed him just like the rest of the people. At a time they were both viewed as god’s gift, idol and exemplary being to others, but then she slipped up, trying to outdo herself by bedding a foreigner. As she liked variety in her men she had never been with one before, but little did she know it was one of her dads acquaintances, he knew of her immediately and rejected all advances, she was distraught and thought she was losing her touch. Later that night returning home after the incident she spotted the foreigner in the hallways of her house, she panicked wondering how he had found her, but was relieved thinking he had come back for her, she followed him to the library on the upper levels trying to surprise him, but he walked in on one of her father’s meetings. And that’s when all the pieces fell into place, she messed up big time, and there was no lying or fixing this.
At the age of roughly 16, her father threatened to disown her, and it was only because of Adarian, threatening that wherever she was going he would be right with her, that put a halt to the decision. But the seed was already planted, the damage was already done, and from there on Adarian was the favored between the twins in the eyes of their family and the highest in status in the society. She wasn’t to effected by it though her parents and her had never really been on good terms, but it surprised her when Adarian challenged the man to a battle to the death, and promptly killed him. Employing one of his schemes, and vengeance for the twins, he then proceeded to goad and subtly taunt all the male figures in that family so that they’d either challenge Adarian ((and end up dead of course)) or make themselves look bad enough that their reputation was damaged beyond repair-and then kill them of course. Devryian felt so relived with Adarian, he had stood up for her when no one else would and eliminated a threat that was no easy obstacle. She then dealt with the woman of the family threatening them with information she had gathered from their poorly faithful husbands, it was relatively easy, they all agreed step back from their taunting and humiliating her. But the ones that were defiant she dealt with in another way, simply put, they never spoke out again because they couldn’t, how are you supposed to talk when you’re dead.
Once that matter was done and settled, the neighboring tribes came together to form their own society to try and rival theirs. War erupted, and for a little over a year the battles and fights waged on. Ultimately in the end Adarian and Devryian’s people won, and then spent the next half year conducting order and stability, crushing the chaos and bringing about order to the chaos. Despite the losses, their people bounced back rather well, enslaving the enemy people and letting a minority of them merge with their own. From there on, peace and prosperity ruled, with only minor difficulties and obstacles. All due to the minds of the twins and their contributions. In this aspect however, Devyn was really the main power behind everything, and Adarian hardly had to help her, but rather he made sure everything went smoothly and according, time to time adding in his two cents. Slowly, Devyn’s image had began healing, and with this she’d practically reached the status of what she’d been once.
During the war, the equivalent of a priest/pastor/ect set himself apart, even managing to form a small cult after the war. He spoke about the incubus, nightwalkers, the fang’d and the forever lost and the like. It wouldn’t be until later that the creatures of which they spoke about were vampires. Devyn found them annoying, she didn’t want another outbreak happening, not so soon after they had just won, she had Adarian take care of them in any way he felt though, and he usually felt like killing. The solemn group heeded the warning, but looking back Devyn wished she would’ve listened, even just a little.
The next night, Devyn found herself with a foreign man, she had sworn to never attempt it again, but there was nothing stopping her this time, no one in particular holding her back from what she hoped to be a pleasure filled night with this traveler, her brother perhaps, but he was going to the local pub with some of his friends . Things looked like they were going rather well for the couple, and the man had the appearance of someone of high standing, she walked closer to him and looked at his face. She gasped at his beauty, he had very exotic features, high cheek bones, a nice set of kissable lips, and her gaze continued up till she met his eyes. Her words of seduction and plan to bed him left her mind as soon as their eyes met, she was entranced, they were a very light icy blue color, she almost didn’t believe it but then his o-so kissable lips started to move. “I want you to bend your neck for me so I can taste you okay?”, she didn’t know what exactly he meant but she wasn’t complaining, which was odd, she never liked to be told what to do, and was always the one controlling things, but right now she didn’t care what he did as long as his attention was on her. She nodded her head briefly before craning her neck to him, her hand brushed the lushes locks from her shoulder and she closed her eyes awaiting whatever it was he wanted to do to her. But it didn’t come, only a squelching sound was heard, her eyes snapped open and all she saw was blood, her body was screaming no, she wanted this man but he was dead now, a silver dagger protruding from his neck. She wanted to move to help him but again her body wouldn’t let her, she stood in place her neck still craned, then she was spun around. Her brother was still here, he had a light shining in his eyes, something he she hasn’t seen since her father tried to disown her. It was scary, he looked like he could kill someone, she reached out to grab him realizing her body could now move but she didn’t reach him in time as the foreigner grabbed him by the hair and threw him up against a stone wall, she gasped as the tears ran down her face, she wanted to do something but she knew she didn’t stand a chance against someone who could take on her brother. The vampire started muttering things she didn’t even want to think about, he said he was going to take her place, she stood there shocked, only watching as the vampire spun her brother around about to do god knows what to him. But it was stopped yet again as Adarian removed the dagger then jammed it into his stomach, she was relieved and thought it might have been over. She didn’t exactly know what a vampire could and couldn’t withstand but that last hit looked like it could kill, sadly the vampire was up and moving again making sure to incapacitate Adarian this time. He picked Adarian up by the throat and threw him back against the wall stained with his neck blood, the sound of his jaw and cheek fracturing resounded throughout the small clearing. She thought he was dead, his body crumpled to the floor and didn’t move, she started towards him but didn’t make it too far as the vampire had removed the dagger and was behind her with a strong hand at the bottom of her jaw angling it so he had easy access to her neck. He bit down and a white-hot pain exploded throughout her body, it was concentrated at her neck then spread like wildfire, her body hurt and she could feel all then energy being sucked away, but through the pain he heard him tell Adarian that this was his punishment, he would turn her into one of his kind. She shook her head back and forth, mouthing no, she didn’t have enough energy left to scream for help but the tears ran freely as the rest of the blood was sucked away with the remains of her human life.
She woke sometime days later, and the scenes from the night before came back full force. She was hysterical but the emotion was pushed aside, there was a hunger in her like never before, she wanted to…eat. She felt like eating horse or something equivalent to that, she tried to move but felt restricted, the scenes from before with her brother came back again, she started screaming, yelling at the top of her lungs. She was screaming until the needed breath of air came, but it never did so she just kept on screaming till realization dawned on her. She was a nightwalker, or a vampire, and that god awful foreigner was her turner. She started crying again, the tears ran over her cheeks and she kicked and tried to move her arms, it gradually became easier and easier until she was clawing at the ground above her. Her hand broke the surface and relief swept through her, she was free, she could go back home and go back to life, she continued pounding the dirt until it had a large hole for her to maneuver out of. She flopped back on the ground just reveling in the moment, she was free of the dirt prison, but the moment was ruined as a face with icy blue eyes appeared in her face. “Hello there”, she couldn’t tell where his accent was from but it was not from around here. She kept staring into his eyes until he started leaning closer, “Where’s my brother?”, his eyes widened slightly before he answered “I don’t know”.
She continued to question him asking why she was bleeding from her eyes, what is she, if she’s dead, why he’d turn her, and she found it odd that he answered her every question without hesitation, like he was trying to befriend her or something. “Why are you answering me, you turned me against my will and now you act like we’re friends”, “I can’t not answer you, and I don’t know why” he gritted his teeth together. “What do you mean you can’t not answer me?”, “I mean I don’t have any control over my mouth,”, so she thought it through, “So I’m controlling your mouth?”, “I don’t know what you’re doing but I want you to stop, as your maker I comma-”, he was cut off by her voice. “Silence!”, a grin made itself know on her face she could control his body with the sound of her voice. It didn’t take a genius to figure it out, “I can’t return just yet but you will teach me everything you know and we will return together, I to reclaim my honor, and you to meet your death.” He nodded slowly. “Good, let’s get started”
After a year of learning the ways of a vampire Devyn started her journey home, it didn’t take long as she could run at speeds unknown to man, and her maker whose name she learned was Radoslav accompanied her. She made sure he was going to die soon, their bond was not as a normal maker and progeny should’ve been, they hated one another with a passion, he despised her for her control over him, and she hates him for what she is today. And that what made the decision to end him that much easier, they raced into the city stopping at the outskirts by another bar, they followed her brother’s scent until it stopped at a little hut. She ordered him to the lakes edge, “This is the last time we’ll see each other, but I don’t really care, so your going sit down over there, draw attention to yourself and fight him, but you will not kill him, understand?”, he nodded reluctantly “I understand.” She watched on as two daggers came flying from the hut, it hit the vampire right below his no longer beating heart, and right under the collar bone. She smiled to herself thinking her brother could win this, but she could hear him ask the girl to leave beg even but it was to no avail, she didn’t leave, just ended up between the vampire’s hands, he stood there taunting him further, ” Same with that darling sister of yours, pathetic and weak, one and the same…if I hadn’t turned her who knows how she’d turn out…” she grinned again, fighting till the very end, it was…expected, but the end was closer than Radoslav could tell because her brother lunged at him and she watched as he snapped her neck with a flick of her wrist, and Adarian’s sword slid right into his neck, he smote him at the cost of a innocent, and it looked like… he enjoyed it.
And in her gazing she had slowly started stepping out and towards him unconsciously, but the mistake had already been made, he’d spotted her, so she ran, and never stopped running until the tears stopped, her face was streaked with blood and red, giving off a very frightening effect. Even after hearing him she didn’t turn back, she knew she couldn’t, his blood called to her, there bond was too strong and with one of them a vampire she couldn’t risk the other one dying to.
She spent the next 3 years testing herself, she would sometimes put herself in a largely populated area purposely focusing on the blood, she would see how long she could last until she gave out, grabbing anyone in her sight by the hand and draining them, sating the thirst and trying again. she would basically repeat this over and over again until she felt it safe to see her brother again. During her time she learned to control her power, using it only when she wants, it was still faulty, but over the years she learned that vampires were easy to control, humans were like butlers, but the few Were’s she did encounter were very resistant. Only the weak, shy ones could be controlled and even then it was tough, trying to put layer on top of layer forcing them to bend to her will.
Eventually though she overcame it though, the weak can be easily controlled, while the dominant she had to persuade into doing her bidding. She used that to obtain what she desired, and conquer who ever came in her way, using her powers wasn’t the only way of getting what she wanted. She had watched her brother fight many times, and went to some of his classes, equipped with her new photographic memory she could copy every move she ever saw, and could most definitely hold her own in a fight. The harsh years and self survival taught her to kill on command, the instant she deemed that person unworthy they were dead, some put up a fight and others didn’t have a chance to react. During her blood thirst she caught the distinct smell of her twin, it couldn’t be mistaken, she followed it out until the unmistakable smell of Were was also present. But there he was sitting all calm, aged a little, with some scruff, but he looked good.
She assumed the band of rogues and mercenaries had camped for the night in a clearing in the heart of the woodlands. The humans were asleep, but the Were’s were awake and talking, drinking too while they ate on their fish, then Were’s tensed, sniffing and on edge. She stepped forward, unsure of herself but hoping he would except her with open arms, of course it didn’t though, the Were’s lunged at her, she let them get her hoping to make piece but when their hands started roaming and unbuttoning she broke the first ones neck quickly and grabbed the seconds heart letting it beat its last beats in the palm of her hand. She saw Adarian get up and rush forward though, he killed two of his own people, to see her or kill her was unknown at the moment though. The third person was about to get him but she got him from the spine, ripping it out like someone takes off a belt, it was dramatic but it got the job done. And without a second thought she had her brother pinned against the wall, she didn’t know if he wanted to kill her that night but she didn’t want to be alone anymore, and she didn’t want him to hate her, although by sinking her fangs into him and draining his life away probably wasn’t the best way to subdue any hate present..
New Life;;
He awoke a few nights later, she could feel it in whatever kind of blood bond they now shared. After only a second he pushed his way above ground, erupting from the surface and using vampire speed to leap out and stand upright. From there on, he was forever changed. He was roughly 4 years younger than Devyn as a vampire now, and she was his maker. She took him on his first hunt, and after that he attacked the topic of what she’d been doing the past 4 years, the why’s the how’s, addressing his emotions and everything else until he was satisfied with everything. True, he was still seemed angered at Devyn, and the fact he was a vampire wasn’t a good one either. But after a week or so he’d gotten over it, and the twin team was perfect and back to normal.
At the progress, Adarian chose to return home on night and confront his father. Devyn was with him- never too far away now- and he she followed him as he made his way to their fathers room. Adarian took the lead explaining the new life, told about Devyn and the like. Once she came into the room though, he lost it. He suddenly believed..and he was afraid-and hateful as ever. He had a silver medallion, and as if to embrace his son he shoved it right in his mouth Devyn was stunned but her brother moved faster, smashing ‘father’ against the wall almost killing him, then finishing the job by draining him dry. And even when he was dying their father nstill didn’t truly accept them. Devyn took care of anyone that’d come to investigate, and while her newly turned brother started acting on vampyric impulse Adarian went into action. He killed therir mother, but Devyn thought he was having to much fun, so together they went on a killing spree- massacring every single person that made up their society. From there on, the twins had been inseparable since.
Over the next 4500+ years or so the vampire twins- maker and progeny, lived like true vampires, at times mainstreaming to take place in major historical events/wars, rising in status and hierarchy in others, making or breaking empires or societies as they saw fit. Devyn got her fill, and Adarian was glad to follow her on her ‘turns’. Devyn loved to rule things, Adarian himself got to train, fight, and even create some of the best warriors, assassins, mercenaries, armies and legions ect known to mankind, while Devyn took control of their minds strategizing their every move. Basically, in nearly every winning battle or war, you could find Adarin and Devyn either part of it or helping in it. Through the 4500+ years of vampire life there was hardly a battle zone they hadn’t been in in some way shape or form. From the Roman Armies & Nordic Vikings, to the Soviet Spetznaz & the Asian Militaries
Rise in Power;;
Because of their age and power and qualities, they were one of the first vampires to join The Vampire Elite. Becoming a part of the Tribunal followed soon after due to the twins’ experiences and abilities, and quickly rose in rank and notoriety. Until the Magister(s) himself proved to be the only semblance of a challenge, and even then- the twins together was a deadly and wicked force. Essentially, only the Authority had any main control over them, since the Magister(s) realized the twins were proving to be potentially dangerous, as if feeling their grip and dominance over them fading- the Authority more often than not had to deal directly with them, but ended up positioned Adarian as King of Texas, Devyn as the Magister of North America, what she did to obtain the position was, well you can probably guess.
As renowned members of both the Vampire Elite & Tribunal, views on them as well as their notoriety is ranged, to the point where some vampires believe them to be borderline treasonous, that or on the right mindset for the vampire community in their ways.
But still, the twins are not sated, and they continue to want more. Only the Elite closest to them know of how they plot for control, war even, but only the twins themselves know of how much deeper that goes…

New Life;;
He awoke a few nights later, she could feel it in whatever kind of blood bond they now shared.
Rise in Power;;

Cane walked into his decently sized apartment and headed straight for the bathroom, he didn’t know the exact amount but he was pretty sure he had more than enough shots. His head occupied the toilet for a couple hours as stomach was trying to get better, he brushed his teeth twice and used mouth wash 3 times before finally climbing into his big king sized bed. The next morning he woke up late again around 11ish and didn’t get a chance to even make coffee let alone go on his morning jog, so instead he just placed his glasses over his eyes and made sure there was no company whatsoever today. That was until he got a call, he walked through his kitchen to the office room and picked up the phone answering it sleepily.
“Hello?” He wasn’t in the mood for a damn prank joke so he hoped it was legitimate of some sort.
“Cane, is that you buddy?” The voice on the other end was deep and deep and belonged to Jason Wilkinson.
“Hey J sorry bout last night I think I had a little too much to drink even for me but I’m good now, slowly recuperating but I am,” He hoped that Jason got the hint to leave him alone right now but he wasn’t too sure that he would. Yes Jason’s Canes drinking partner but he really didn’t need any more alcohol right now.
“Oh that’s too bad, I just heard from some people that there is a Vampire gathering at some bar tonight and I wanted to see if you wanted to crash it with me, but since your way hung over I will find another person to accompany me.” His voiced tried to stay neutral but Jason knew Cane would never pass up an opportunity to go to a party, especially a Vamp party.
“Hmmm, a Vampire party, I’m in just tell me when and where, or you come pick me up.” He was already excited again at the new information of a party.
“I will come get you in about 2 hours ok?”
“That’s fine” He hung up the phone on the wall and wondered why Jason never called his cell phone, but it didn’t matter now as he was going to a place that was filled with Vampires. He smiled when he thought about all the eyes that were going to be glued to him and how many looks he would get. Of course he would keep a safe distance but damn it if he wasn’t going to have as much fun as he could.
Returning to his room he took off his glasses and let his eyes adjust to the light before entering the shower, he turned it to hot because he thought warm wasn’t…..warm enough, he liked the feel of hot water beating down on his back kind of massaging it, it was a great relief. He stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his mid waist, walking into his closet he searched for a good outfit but didn’t know the dress code. He decided for black dress slacks and black shoes that shine in the light, with a maroon dress shirt and black tie and jacket. He used gel to style his hair and made sure to brush his teeth again using mouth wash once more.
When he heard the doorbell he knew Jason had arrived and grabbed his watch along with his wallet. Walking out the door he locked it behind him and got in the passenger’s side. They chatted on the way over commenting on the previous night’s party here and there, when they arrived they walked up to the bouncer who stopped them at the door with his hand held high.
“Invite only and doubt-“ He stopped mid sentence when his head snapped up to Cane. Of course he smirked at the power he held over Vampires, but he just wanted to get in and since there were human here he knew no vamp would make a scene and try to get some him.
“Yes sir my friend and I got a verbal invite may we please enter?” He asked nicely anticipating the answer would be yes but he was wrong. The bouncer whipped his head back and forth a couple of times trying to shake the scent but it was hard when the fairy was so close. He turned away and said.
“No I need to see the invitation.” He was trying not to inhale but Cane took a step closer and moved his collar a little revealing his neck, the smell was intoxicating but the vampire could only resist it for so long. He covered his mouth as his eyes snapped back to Cane.
“I can let you have a taste afterwards if you let my friend and I in,” He suggested quietly, the Vampires eyes widened and he nodded removing his hand from blocking their entrance.
“You may enter.”
Cane ushered Jason to hurry up and inside they went, Jason didn’t know what the hell happened but Cane did know one thing. No Vampire was getting a taste of him anytime soon.
