OVERALL PERSONALITY Elizabeth is very cold when first meeting anyone of any kind. Whether its a human, a vampire or a werewolf, she will just ignore them to the best of her ability and sneer at them. She is not used to being around the more "lively" beings around her, but she's soon getting used to it. Once she's warmed up to someone, she'll protect them with everything she has. Elizabeth is fiercely protective of the ones she cares for due to her trama of losing the boy she loved hundreds of years ago. She's not one to fall for that "love at first sight" bullshit. That only happened to her once before and since that blew up in her face, she refuses to believe it could happen again.
Elizabeth is a spitfire when angered. She takes after her father that way. Though, since Lizzie is female, she instantly takes things to heart and when someone seems to insult her she'll get really fired up and start yelling at them, mostly ranting though. But, even though she starts to rant when angered, if she's really angered her thoughts will get jumbled up and her rants will not make sense at ALL and she's just yelling to yell.

OVERALL HISTORYElizabeth was born over 3000 years ago. She was changed at a young age and the man who turned her ended up saving her from the sun's rays by sacrificing himself. She didn't know him that well, but even though he saved her she hated him for what he did. She hates being a vampire, and would rather just go on existing like she had before, for it was the reason why her last lover was murdered. He was human, she was a vampire and the queen of Italy, when the other members of her coven heard of her love affair with a human, they murdered him in cold blood. When she found out about who murdered her lover, the vampire destroyed the culprit, silencing the rest of the court about the subject. Since then, Elizabeth has learned to keep her private life from the other members of her species and to never fall in love again, but it seems that fate had other things in mind.
Elizabeth soon fled Italy around the time of the American Revolution and took her time moving around the country when people started to wonder why she never got older. She never stayed in a place more than a few years, but she soon came upon Bon Temps, Louisiana where she finally settled herself down.
One day when Elizabeth was wandering around the city, she came upon a brawl in an alleyway nearby. Thankfully it was almost sunset and her powers would work once the sun had left the sky, so she walked in and figured out that the men were trying to get a boy to come in the car with them. Apparently it was a failing kidnap attempt and when the men decided to grab the boy and drag him into the van when the sun had left the sky. Elizabeth jumped on the opportunity for fresh blood and attacked the men, sucking them dry. When she was finished, she offered a hand to the boy and introduced herself, telling him he had nothing to fear from her. He took her hand and introduced himself as James.
Since the rescue of James, Elizabeth grew attached to the boy. often visiting him after dark when he needed her (mostly because he had instigated the visits at first to get her to come and save him again, only making her mad and tell him to promise her not to do that again). She wasn't sure why, but she felt a strong bond with the boy and it was a lot like that one other time she felt that horrid emotion she refused to ever feel again. Love. Over the years, the bond between James and Elizabeth grew just as he did. Starting at a child of thirteen, James was at the young age of twenty when he declared he wanted Elizabeth to change him. She refused to do so until he is at least the age she was, but it was mostly because she wanted him to live out his life and be happy. She wouldn't wish this life on anyone. Now, just a few years later, James is coming up on being 24 years of age. The time of his change is drawing near, especially since the members of Elizabeth's coven are finally closing in and would be suspicious of why Elizabeth smelled of a human lover, so the vampire must choose between keeping James as the human she loves, or changing him so she wouldn't have another dead lover on her hands.
