HAIR Braxton has fairly short, brown hair. It’s fairly soft and straight, with a constant healthy shine to it. He often spikes it up but he also has his lazy days where he wakes up and leaves it in disarray. Braxton never lets his hair get too long though since it becomes too bothersome to keep up with.
EYES His eyes are fairly large, and to top it off a vivid sky blue. They are one of his most eye-catching features.
HEIGHT 5’11”
WEIGHT 154 lbs.
FEATURES Braxton has a few battle scars from dropping into the Fae Realm. He has one slim scar just above his left hip bone, and another jagged scar on his right bicep.

LIKES Reading, humans, snow, music, animals, nature, being alone, honesty
DISLIKES Vampires, pure fairies, lemons, iron, rain, ignorance, liars
STRENGTHS 1)Braxton is very good with all things nature involved. He can easily find his way out of the depths of a forest, or figure out the correct body language to avoid getting attacked by an animal.
2) Dedication; He is a rather lonely soul so once he finds something he likes he sticks to it no matter what. It could be a friend, a job, anything. He will stand by those he cares for until the end since those beings are few and far between.
3) Blending-In; Being only half fae gives him normal ears but Braxton is also careful to not show off his extreme dislike for lemons and iron. He is excellent at pretending to be completely human, and great at avoiding vampires.
WEAKNESSES 1)Bitter; He is extremely bitter about his heritage and simply wants to be all human or all fairy. Mostly he blames his fae heritage for the problem, causing him to dislike other fairies. This leaves him rather alone, putting him in danger of other supernatural creatures.
2) Quiet; His bitter outlook has forced him into a quiet, withdrawn state of mind. He rarely will start a conversation with someone and can be rather shy. It makes it pretty hard to find any real friends that way.
3) Stubborn; Braxton has a tendency to be pig-headed, once he gets an idea in his mind that’s it, he is right. It takes a lot of convincing and good points to make him change his mind.
OVERALL PERSONALITY Overall Braxton is a bit of a recluse. He does not feel that he fits in with the fae world or with the humans. He never knew his fairy father and blames him for seducing his mother to create the half and half being that is him. Therefore with no contact with his actual father it left Braxton lost and confused about who he was. He loathes pure fairies and avoids contact at all costs. He assumes they will never truly understand or accept him.
Due to his caring human mother, he is much more open to humans. Braxton finds them to be silly and petty at times but overall they make a good effort. However he still feels he does not truly fit in with them either, even if he tries very hard to do so. Since he feels so uncomfortable in his own skin, he is rather shy. He has few friends and tends to feel lonely often. However when he does have a friend he is loyal, caring, and a great listener. He is also a hard worker and will perform any job he has to his full potential. Braxton does not believe in being lazy, he views it as pointless and harmful to one’s own life. He can have a temper at times, mostly because he is so bitter about his own life it puts him in a bad mood.

FAMILY
*Martha Carlyle/68 Years/Mother*
*Unknown/Unknown/Father*
HOME Town Monroe
OVERALL HISTORY
Braxton was born to a human mother, Martha, who raised him alone. His pure blood fairy father abandoned them and never came back. Martha worked hard at a local diner and part time at a hotel to keep up with bills on their small home. At first everything was fine. Braxton grew up a healthy little boy and believed he was 100% human, just with an absent father. However when he reached age 8 all of that changed. He explained to his mother how after school one day a woman walked through a portal in the backyard and spoke to him. She said something about his father and how he needed to learn about his heritage.
After that Martha knew someone related to Braxton’s father was reaching out to the boy, trying to introduce him to the fairy realm. She did her best to hide it from her son but eventually she had to tell him the whole story. The female fairy that taught Braxton about his fae heritage was named Estelle, and she was Braxton’s Aunt. Apparently she felt pity for the abandoned half human child and knew someone needed to take some sort of responsibility. Her visits were infrequent but often enough that he now knows how to channel his slightly weaker photokinesis, as well as take advantage of portals into the fae realm.
Eventually Braxton moved out of his mother’s home in Monroe and found his own place, which happens to be in Bon Temps. He manages a small outdoors shop full of camping, fishing, and hiking gear. It is owned by an elderly man who needed someone to take on most of the hours since he was getting older. Braxton knows few people in town since he rarely ventures anywhere besides home and work. He simply does not feel comfortable enough to go hang out at a bar or something. His trips to the fae realm are also very infrequent, and only in order to visit Estelle, the one fairy he actually likes.

Braxton awoke early that morning out of habit. He was so used to rising with the sun and going to open shop at Taylor’s Sporting Goods. Today he had the day off though and oddly he never liked that. He had no social life so at least work gave him something to do all day. It also allowed him to interact with humans in a very normal way. The sun was just rising into the sky and the birds were chirping a delightful song outside. With a sigh he rose and walked out into the small kitchen. The window above the sink gazed upon the backyard which was seren and still glistening with dew.
He opened the back door and walked out onto the grass barefoot. Shutting his eyes for a moment, he could feel the power of the sunlight and the waking beings in the forest. The sunlight broke through the trees, the gold light washing over his face. Here, in the middle of nowhere, he felt at home.
