So, The whole point of the site revamp was to breathe life back into TBN. We, the staff, firmly believe that to have a good site, we need to start with good posts. I'm hoping we've all been informed by now about the new 250 word count minimum for all the IC posts; 150 just wasn't enough. I'm happy to see that so far, we've all complied (myself included, because as you may have noticed, my old posts ranged from 160-200 words). It's a bit of an adjustment for me, too.
In addition to that, I want to reiterate that we do not allow god-modding or power-playing on TBN. To those who don't know, power-playing basically means controlling the whole scene/thread. It is one of the basic rules of RP to allow room for the partner/s to reply and interpret what's going on. You can only control your own character, unless permission was granted. I ask that if you grant this permission you let admin know.
I've been putting locks on posts that I've seen that don't make the requirement since before we were TBN and I'm bringing it back. Your RP partners can't reply until your post has been modified. Please send me (which ever staff member the posted the lock) a PM when the modifications have been made.
Guys, we're doing this to make sure that we encourage prospective members to join - because we're a good site with good writing. I know each member has the skill needed for good posts; you wouldn't have been accepted otherwise.
