It's been a year since Sookie Stackhouse disappeared.
In that time, lives have changed- new additions to the world and to various cliques have been made, new alliances and hostilities were forged, new identities forged. As if that weren't difficult enough to digest, new villains have been in the making as well.
It's the season of the witch in Bon Temps, and unlike the last problem Sookie had to face, these girls don't go to bed when the sun comes up. Led by a woman named Hallow, the coven has moved to Shreveport in hopes of expanding their ranks so they can not only have control over life, but death as well- including the undead. With each new member, they take one step closer to Hallow's ultimate goal of proving that it isn't the vampires in charge: it's the witches.
