Amanda became darker, she started lying and acting meaner. After some counseling she became nicer again. She had a few friends who she lost in touch with when she was turned 18 and moved into her own house and started college. One night when Amanda was 19 she was at her parents home for dinner, something they always did and someone knocked and Amanda’s father, Lucas invited three people in. However Lucas was acting weird. The attackers were vampires, they murdered Amanda’s parents and when they decided to kill Amanda she got free and shot them with a shotgun with silver. They died and Amanda called 911. But no one believed that they were really vampires because vampires hadn’t come out of the coffin yet. She had years of counceling in Tennessee before moving back to Bon Temps. Amanda has recently found a family member who is her great great great grandfather, Bill Compton but is afraid because he’s a vampire.

It was nice but Amanda knew that not all good things lasted. Amanda just wanted to order food, eat quickly and leave. She was glad that when she sat down in an empty booth that there weren’t any vampires. That made her skin crawl as Amanda looked at the desert menu. She wished that when she moved back to her home town that none of the baggage would follow her. But it did it always did and always would until Amanda dealed with it.
