OVERALL PERSONALITY Not exactly the typical sort of teacher, he's rather goofy and cheerful, and is friends with almost all of his students. He never really makes enemies unless he irritates people. Life was pretty basic for the first 13 years of his life, but he was happy because he had his parents and his little sister, who was born when he turned 14. At the age of 14 he shifted into the family cat, a silver tabby cat, even though he's sorta allergic to them - a sneezing cat, heh - and that's when his parents told him that he's a shifter. Life started getting complicated. People started showing up on their doorstep, talking to his parents almost constantly and asking strange questions about the strange animals appearing across the countryside. At the age of 18, Luke witnessed the 'removal' of his parents. Men came during the night and took both his mother and his father, leaving him with his baby sister in his care. For years he looked for their parents, even going so far as to leave Scotland and travel to America, finally getting a lead on their whereabouts in New Orleans.
He finally got in contact with his father, even if only for a few minutes. While his father couldn't tell him why he and Gwenyfar had been taken, he did warn him to keep Chrissie safe, and try to have a proper life. And just like that, his parents disappeared once again. At the age of 20, Luke graduated from university as a teacher and now lives in Bon Temps with his little sister as a science teacher for Bon Temps high school, but he's never stopped looking for his parents. Since the age of 18, he's also been living partly as a pet cat for a girl that he kinda likes. It's been almost 10 years since then, and he's been with her through everything, though she doesn't actually know he's not really a cat.
