Baby vamp with no Maker.
OVERALL PERSONALITY Will pretends to be supremely confident, and while he is very comfortable with who he is, he is less comfortable with who he's becoming. It would be easy to find Will irritating, if his smartass observations weren't quite so accurate. He was known in his high school for flamboyance and bravado, but it's a show. Will has felt alone for most, if not all of his life. Even being the witty social butterfly that he is, Will's refusal to hide who he is pushes most people in his hometown away. Not that he's particularly interested in winning the favor of those hicks. Still, his loneliness helped to make him easy prey for Marc.
Will has only been a vampire for a couple of weeks, and he's still having trouble with the feeding urges. Surprisingly, he kinda likes TruBlood, but the real thing is just so good. In the time since he was made vampire, Will has drained one of the jackasses from school, and subsequently staked his Maker. Now he's terrified that the other vampires will find out. Will has convinced himself that the only vampire who can help him is Bill Compton, the only vampire who he know's of who's ever escaped the usual punishment for killing a vampire.

OVERALL HISTORYWilliam Matthew Alexander was born in Louisiana, in 1994, and immediately began to distinguish himself. Not as a popluar beacon of success, but as an outcast. From kindergarten on, Will practically lived in a garbage can. From spending his lunches redecorating the classroom play area, to avoiding sports like the plague, young Will did little to ingratiate himself with his peer group. Or the adults around him, for that matter. He began to do musicals when he was in 3rd grade, and shortly after, the bullying reached a fever pitch. Concerned for his safety, Will's parents enrolled him in martial arts training, over his strident objections. But although Will was convinced that the entire endeavour would be nothing but an incredible waste of time, he soon found that he had a talent for it. The same grace that made him such a natural dancer, allowed Will to shine in the dojo. The bullying stopped when he layed out three of his classmates: Aaron Edland, Robby Moiner, and Derrick Garmin, who Will had always suspected was really a juvenile gorilla.
Will, of course, was gay, but he lived so far in the closet, at least with himself, that he now jokes that he might as well have been in Narnia. In seventh grade, Will had his first kiss. It was with a girl, Shelly Aldridge, during a game of truth or dare. 30 seconds, with tongue. He threw up in her mouth. Although he was able to pass off the incident as a case of questionable pizza to his friends, Will came out to his parents, and himself, later that night. None of them were particularly surprised.
Three years later, Will was fifteen as he watched the Great Revelation unfold. 'They're literally monsters, stepping out of legend to show the world who they are. How can I hide anymore?' He asked himself. That week, he came out at school. And the bullying started again. Well at least the verbal abuse. But that was enough to make Will's life Hell. And so it went for another year and a half. When he was seventeen, Will was invited to a friend's party. When he arrived, Will was entranced by a boy who he'd never seen before. The young man introduced himself as Marc. He and Will spent the rest of the evening together. As the night flew by, the two found each other by themselves. Will's heart sped up, he leaned in to kiss Marc. But the other boy stopped him, and said that there was something that Will needed to know before anything happened. And then he showed Will his fangs.
Contrary to the vampire's expectations, Will was surprised, but hardly frightened. Later that month, Will introduced Marc to his parents, and announced that they were a couple. They were not thrilled with the idea, but Will had always been headstrong, and they could do nothing to dissuade him. Months more passed, and they were some of the happiest in Will's brief life. He was tormented during the day by his classmates, and recieved little help from the school administration. His parents did their best to help, but just couldn't relate. But every night, Will and Marc would sit on his bed, or go up on the roof and stare at the stars. The world fell into place, and those moments were worth everything else.
But after a while, Marc began to grow distant. Will grew scared of losing him. When he asked Marc what was wrong, the vampire explained that things couldn't go on as they were. Some day, Will would get old and die. And as a human, Will would always be apart from Marc's world, and always in danger. The only solution was for Will to allow himself to be made vampire. He'd always thought about it, since he and Marc had begun seeing each other. But Will wasn't sure. After all, had plans for his mortal life, things he still wanted to do. In the sunshine. Without being afraid of stakes, and silver. He wanted to eat, and cook. Life was not something that Will could easily give up.
In the end, Marc was more important to him. They ran away that night, and Will has never seen a sunrise since.
The next evening, when Will arose from his shallow grave, Marc had Robby Moiner there, as a snack for his progeny. Will decended in the muscled hick, and drank every drop of his blood. As his progeny finished feeding, Marc revealed his plan. Will was to be nothing but a servant to him. An undying slave. That night, they would go back to Will's house, feed on his family, and then leave the state, never to return. Will couldn't believe what he was hearing, and snarled at his Maker that he would kill him, before either of them laid a finger on his family. Marc laughed and explained that, in the unlikely event that Will did manage to kill him, that the other vampires in the area would find out, and turn him over to the Magister for the usual punishment. Only one vampire, he said, had ever escaped that fate, Mr. Bill Compton, of Bon Temps. And he had a much better case for his defense. Crestfallen, Will submitted to his Maker's command. They set out, and Will could hardly stop crying. They approached his house through the garden that Will's mother kept. Since it was winter, there was nothing growing, but Will managed to concoct a plan. Marc was walking ahead of him. Will pulled a wooden garden stake from one of the planter boxes, and in one smooth move, plunged it into Marc's heart.
Will explained what had happened to his parents, and they agreed to let him hide in the basement. He remained down there for two weeks, until he decided that he had to seek out Bill for help. Without waking his family, Will gathered some of his things, and set out for Bon Temps. He's just arrived.

The cold night air caused Will's breath to cloud in front of him. Breath. He kept forgetting that he didn't need to breath anymore. He would've stopped, if he hadn't been wracked with sobs. Blood ran down his face, and mixed with the gore, left over from Marc, that was splattered across the front of his shirt. He managed to control himself for a moment, and knocked on his back door.
Louise, his mother answered. For a moment, neither of them said anything. Her face was tear-stained, and she stared in shock at her son. "William, where've you been?" She asked. "You have a key, why didn't you just let yourself back in?" Will looked up at her, revealing his bloody tears.
"Because I need you to invite me," Will answered, with his voice shaking. He'd been so stupid to trust Marc at all. All that talk of being together forever. He was just seventeen. Forever could wait. Now, he couldn't even enter his own house, without permission.
"Oh, my God, Will. What happened?" She began to tremble, "Jim, get down here! Will's back!" His father stormed down the stairs, followed closely by Jordan, Will's little brother. Jim's face, which glowed with relief, quickly changed into a mask of anger.
"What the hell did you do?" Will's father asked, his voice deadly quiet. "Your mom has been crying all day. We couldn't even send Jordan to school today, he was to worried about you. And now you show up here, covered in blood? You'd better explain yourself."
"Mom, can I please come in?" Will started to cry again. He should have listened when they told him that Marc was no good. It wasn't because he was a vampire. It was because he was a worthless prick, worse than any that he'd ever met at school.
"Will, are you a -?" Louise began to ask, but she couldn't finish the question. She knew the answer. She began sobbing again, and threw herself into Jim's arms.
"Will, please come in." Jordan's nine year old voice cut across the brewing aguement. Will fought back a new wave of bloody tears. His father moved to close the door, but in a burst of speed, Will stepped inside, and picked up his brother. Fear filled the child's eyes, but Will smiled at him.
"Thank you, Jordan."
