Savannah never liked being told what to do - that was why she left New York - and the next thing on that list is being told how she was feeling. She became extremely disappointed in the sudden serious turn their conversation took. Identity crisis? she thought. Like hell! You don't even know me! She tried to keep her cool, though. She thought maybe this guy was worth sucking a few things up for.
She was extremely glad that she did so when he continued talking. "You know I do," she said in response to last question. "Lead the way."
It was good thing she wore an outfit that she could move in - it was just a huge plus that she looked damn good in her tight red halter top and skinny jeans. She had no idea what Lazarus' idea of fun was but she sure wanted t find out. "Maybe I can even show you a few things I consider fun."

Lazarus was thrilled to hear that she was open to his ideas and he really couldn't wait to see hers. One thing he loved was experiencing new things. He placed his arms around her shoulders with a smile. "Absolutely," he agreed, taking steps toward the front entrance.
Once outside, he began to feel more relaxed and he was sure that Savannah could sense it. He continued to walk down the dirt driveway of Merlotte's, leading her past his car and into the tree line. Laz looked over his shoulder at the restaurant, then at Savannah with a wink.
"I always like a little run after I drink," he said with a playful smile. That was all that he said, then his body began to tingle as he shifted into wolf form.
He was a beautiful, blond wolf with icy blue eyes. He was much larger than most wolves, since he was a beta after all. With his head lowered to the ground on his paws and tail wagging in the air, he waited for Savannah to join him.

Leaving a few bucks on the bar to cover her drinks, she let Lazarus lead her out of the bar and into the parking lot with his arm around her. The idea of not knowing where they were going and what they were going to do excited Savannah to no end.
It was starting to look up for her in this little corner of Middle Of Nowhere, Louisiana. She'd recently gotten a job at the book store in Bon Temps, which she found was a good idea despite the daily drive from Shreveport and now, she seems to have made a friend.
Lazarus walked past the cars, leaving Savannah wondering which one was his or of she even had one. She caught a glimpse of her own car just long enough before her full attention was pulled back to the guy because, suddenly, he wasn't a guy anymore. She had phased into a lovely blond wolf with bright eyes, which were still staring at her. It was much harder to tell one's expression once they're in their other skin, but she thought Lazarus look that said he was daring her.
"Never was one to back out of a challenge," Savannah said out loud to the wolf as her eyes skimmed the area. Aside from the couple who were going at it around the corner, where, he had once hidden to spy on the bartender and busboy, the place was deserted. With a smile on her face, she slowly undid her top, exposing herself for a minute before walking behind an SUV to phase, herself.
