STRENGTHS Cain is the first vampire in existance, meaning he cannot be controlled and he can control any vampire, Abel's spirit will often appear to him, and (attempt) to guide him. Because of his old age, his powers extremely stronger than the than the average vampire. He also can write,read and speak in several languages. Cain is an excellent acoustic guitar player.
WEAKNESSES Cain does not understand most modern technological appliances or slang, and developed SPD (Schizoid Personality Disorder) during his long life span. Cain is dogmatic and stubborn. Cain almost always refuses help and places all responsibility on himself.
[/size]OVERALL PERSONALITY Cain developed Schizoid Personality Disorder (SPD) during his wandering of the world as a vampire, he doesn't desire close relationships, almost always chooses solitary activities, lacks close friends or confidants, appears indifferent to the praise or criticism of others and appears to be emotionally cold, detached and flat. Cain is often very obscure and vague when dealing with his transformation. Cain was once a friend of Leo Tolstoy, adopting his philosophy of pacifism, nonviolence, and simple living and joined Tolstoy after he abandoned his family and wealth and taking the path of a wandering ascetic days before his death although Cain was not responsible. Cain is often chivalrous, standing up for the oppressed and those in need, claiming to have saved several people from being mugged and/or killed. Cain is socially awkward, due to his wandering for thousands of years. Cain show an artistic side to his personality, writing songs about his past experiences and keeps paintings and drawings of past countries he travelled in and people he met in the past. Cain is an introvert due to his constant wandering and nomadic lifestyle and displays personality traits of both the melancholic and phlegmatic temperaments. Cain is also very religious, praying before every meal (of blood, synthetic or otherwise) and prays during his times of uncertainty. Due to his old age Cain has forgotten most of his past before he first arrived in what would become America. He remembers that in his early adulthood he was a farmer and his brother Abel was a herdsman. Cain and Abel had made a sacrifice to god and god had accepted Abel's blood sacrifice over Cain's sacrifice of produce. Cain became jealous and led Abel to a field where he killed him. god punished Cain by turning him into a vampire and forcing him to wander the earth forever. At some point in his life Cain became good friends with Leo Tolstoy, adopting his philosophy of christian anarchism. Somewhere during his wandering around the time colonists were arriving in America his brother Abel appeared to him telling him he could atone. Cain then stowawayed on a ship going to America. Cain later fought in the American revolution. When he was fighting in the revolution he had made a friend with a human who was killed. Cain got revenge by turning the man who killed his friend into a vampire. A few centuries later Cain created a new alias, Colin Adams In, for himself. Sometime in the early 1900's Cain began playing acoustic guitar. During the 1900's Cain/Colin became friends with another human who was killed during a mugging. Driven by anger Colin tracked down the man and came close to killing him until Abel intervened and revealed that the man was a vampire, more specifically the man who killed Colin's friend during the American Revolution who Colin changed into a vampire. Abel also revealed that since the vampire was Colin's progeny he must obey Colin's orders. Colin ordered the vampire to wander the earth forever, like Cain was forced to when he killed Abel. Cain has recently came to bon temps, sometime after Trueblood was created, searching for atonement.

Folding the cubes back into one, Cain put the money in his wallet, placed the cube in his messengers bag, put his guitar back in the case, slung it over his back and began walking down the sidewalk, sticking the thumb on his right hand up until a pick-up truck stopped. Cain placed his guitar and messengers bag in the back and stepped in the passengers seat. "Where you headed?", the driver asked. Cain took out a bottle of trueblood, opened it and took a drink, as the driver tried his best hiding his fear, but Cain knew better. "Your scared. Dont be." Cain cryptically told the driver. "Bon Temps."
